Responsible house-sitting travelers based in Spain!

About this sitter

We are Car and Alex, a responsible couple based in Spain (Barcelona) and originally from the U.S. We work remotely in health care and the arts, respectively, and feel very lucky to have the chance to live in a new country as of spring 2025.

Why they want to house sit

We are always looking for a new adventure! Since we're new to Spain, we would love to travel around via house sitting experiences and get to know the country (and maybe other countries too). We are able to work anywhere and love sightseeing, eating, and living like locals in new places.

Their experience

We have done housesitting for a number of friends and family throughout the years, and Car was once an AirBnB host in Philadelphia. We have cats and plants ourselves, so we have no doubt we can keep your pets and house happy and you can rest easy during your holiday.

What can they bring to the assignment

Exceptional care! Though we love to travel, we are homebodies at heart, so there's no doubt we will be first-and-foremost relaxing and playing with the pets wherever we are based-- that also means we plan to keep things tidy and treat the space as if it's our own. :)
