Dependable Sitter with US & Europe Experience

About this sitter

I am a 33 year old Wisconsin-based sitter with around 6 years of petsitting experience. After a pause while owning a business, I'm excited to be able to dedicate more of my time to petsitting again, especially if it allows me to experience a new city. I enjoy settling into a place and feeling like I truly living there, so I tend to prefer longer sits. I usually avoid booking too far out to keep my schedule flexible, but once I commit to dates, I am fully committed.

Why they want to house sit

I've done a lot of petsitting over the years and enjoy it immensely. When suggested to petsit to help travel, I loved it! I've been fortunate enough to travel most of 2025, during which I did 5 months of petsitting. It was my first truly solo trip and I can't imagine it any other way now. I find that I appreciate having the added routine and a sweet critter/s to come home to and love on ?

Their experience

Yes. I have the most experience with cats & dogs, though have a lot of love to share, some experience with other animals, and am a quick learner. When my last doggo (a St. Bernard named Dipsy, that we raised as a pup) passed, I took a break to heal before beginning petsitting. I began with Rover (all reviews were 5 stars), 5 months in 2025 through facebook groups, and some in between for family, friends, and Rover repeats.

What can they bring to the assignment

My top priority is the pets' needs. I will meet them where they're most comfortable, both energy-wise & sticking to their routine. I am happy to send daily updates, I have a hard time not snapping pix when they're being cute and it's fun to share them. I am used to keeping a home tidy & clean as well - as I am traveling a lot, I have my house listed on airbnb and am comfortable keeping that standard.
