About this sitter
I will be traveling through Europe and have been pet sitting in the US, UK and EU for 2 years and I love it! I am semi retired and work selling my travel photography, books I write and my blog site. I am currently doing the Schengen shuffle as a way of traveling until I figure out where I would like to settle down at some point.

I love animals and taking care of them. I enjoy staying in someone's home because it makes me feel more at home. I am semi retired and it helps with my expenses.

Flexible and professional
Mary jumped in to help us out when another sitter fell through, which we really appreciated. She coordinated with a couple who were finishing up a 6-week stay with us and took over til we came back, so there was an added 'degree of difficulty' to her sit. She was flexible and professional, and we came back to a spotless house and two very happy cats!

Our heartfelt appreciation
It was so comforting to be away for 2 weeks and not have any worries about our home and our 20-year-old cat (Emerson). Mary administered a pill, two times a day for Emerson’s hyperthyroidism. Mary showered Emerson with extra, extra care around his deafness, limited sight, osteoarthritis, chronic kidney disease and finicky eating habits. The periodic updates via texts of Emerson brought smiles to our days away. Our home was clean and in shipshape order which allowed us to get back into our normal routine with ease. It was obvious that Mary took care of our home as if it were her own. Overall, Mary provided ideal communication, asked good questions, and was respectful all around. We hope Mary will be able to return and sit for Emerson in the future. Our heartfelt appreciation.

In good hands

She is top-of-the-line
This is the second house/pet sit that Mary has done for us. She's top-of-the-line. Everything was in order on our return. During our absence, an unusual electrical problem occurred one night that she was able to help resolve without loosing a beat! Would happily invite her back
Mary took great care of Banksy for 3 weeks while we were away. She is a good communicator, sent us daily pics and updates on Banksy, was self sufficient and left our home clean and tidy for when we returned. We would happily invite her back to sit for us in the future anytime she is available.
