I'm Joanna, originally from England and recently relcated back to US after living in Crete, Greece for several years. .
I spent several years in Virginia, USA and spend a lot of my time there, to be closer to my young adult children.
I have been working in a Travel/excursion office in Crete for the Summer and now working for a Teaching agency as a tutor, teaching English language to adults and also Drama (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art syllabus) to children and young adults via online lessons.
I’m a calm, caring person who truly loves animals. I grew up with cats and later had both a cat and a dog while raising my children. Being around pets brings me joy and peace. I enjoy quiet environments, being in nature, and giving animals the attention and care they need. I’m looking for house sits where I can offer loving, reliable companionship to your pets while keeping your home safe and well looked after.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is a beautiful way for me to combine two things I love—caring for animals and spending time in peaceful, homey environments. I work remotely, so I truly value the flexibility it gives me to travel gently and live like a local. It also allows me to be closer to my two sons: my youngest is near Washington DC, and my eldest is at university in Michigan. Being nearby, even for a little while, means a lot to me as a mother. House sitting gives me purpose, connection, and a sense of home—wherever I am.
