About this sitter

My partner, Maurits (Dutch, 30), and I (British, 28) have recently returned from Kenya and are hoping to find a place to settle for a little while in Europe. We both work remotely - Maurits is a trained geologist supporting governments with flood and drought prevention, and I work for an elephant conservation project and a healthcare nonprofit.

We’re both big animal and nature lovers, and between us have cared for dogs, cats, chickens, and a horse. We enjoy hiking, cooking, and the outdoors - and Maurits, especially, is a proud plant enthusiast.

With backgrounds in managing people, properties (I previously worked in guest services for a luxury rental agency in Paris), and complex projects in remote settings, we bring discretion, warmth, and great care to any home we stay in. Whether tending to a peaceful home, caring for much-loved pets, or offering a steady presence while you're away, we offer reliability, calm, and absolute respect for your space.
