About this sitter
We are an active, retired couple, non-smokers. We enjoy walking, travelling and holidays. We love animals although we longer have a pet. We remember the difficulty of finding someone to look after our dog while we went on holiday.
Why they want to house sit
It would be a mini holiday for us whilst helping someone else out.

I could not have asked for better sitters, they have been absolutely wonderful with my animals, especially with Daisy my 18 year old cat, who needs a little help with feeding and Jake my rescue, who needs initially calm and predictability. They definitely knew how to be with him and he soon settled with them. A really positive was that they have experience with older animals and could think on their feet and see what was important to be done. They even cooked Jake his own meal with rice and mince, which was amazing. My house was left very tidy on my return and also my pot plants looked well and healthy.:-) I can honestly recommend this lovely couple. They were a joy to meet, kept in contact well and made the most of their stay by exploring the surrounding area. I would love to have them back again in the future. Janet van Dam

I knew the moment I returned home that my three elderly pets two dogs and a cat had been really well looked after and had been very happy with Sue and her husband while I had been in France with my family.i cannot thank them enough and would not hesitate to ask them again. It is so important to me that they are happy and looked after well in their later years and that was certainly the case and I thank them both very much.
