About this sitter

I’m Diana, a dedicated animal lover and plant care enthusiast with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve been the main caregiver for my family’s pets — two male tabby cats I’ve raised since I was a teenager and a chihuahua I’ve had since I was a little girl. Many animals warm up to me quickly, often sensing the scent of other animals who have “approved” of me as kind and caring toward their kind.

I’m currently completing an internship at the Hesperia Zoo, where I’ve worked with a variety of animals — including a lion named Henry, who holds a special place in my heart. I’m looking for house sits where I can provide attentive, loving care to pets and plants while ensuring the home stays safe, clean, and well-tended.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit because it gives me the opportunity to do what I love — caring for animals and plants — while helping me save for my tuition. I’m currently studying Human–Animal Studies at the University of Redlands and hope to become either a zoologist or a veterinary technician assistant in the future.

Most importantly, I do this mainly for the animals, because I know firsthand how worrying it can be for pet parents to leave their pets behind. I want to provide the kind of loving, attentive care that helps both pets and their owners feel at ease.

Their experience

Yes, I have hands-on experience caring for animals and plants. I’ve been the primary caregiver for my family’s pets, including two male tabby cats and a chihuahua. Additionally, I’m currently doing an internship at the Hesperia Zoo, where I’ve gained valuable experience working with a variety of animals, including a lion named Henry. I’ve also helped neighbors with tasks like managing trash and maintaining their homes, showing my reliability and responsibility.

What can they bring to the assignment

bring a strong passion for animal and plant care, backed by hands-on experience with my own pets and my internship at the Hesperia Zoo. I’m reliable, attentive, and respectful of your home and pets’ needs. I’m comfortable following instructions closely and am happy to provide companionship, feeding, walks, and general care to ensure your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away.

Additionally, I’m proactive about home upkeep, like plant watering and keeping things tidy, so you can return to a well-cared-for home. I will provide live updates on any tasks or activities you want me to do, either via message on this website, text, or call — unless you prefer a written report at the end of the day.
