We are Isabelle & Silas, experienced housesitters & married couple in our late-30s, with a passion for travel. Over the years, we have taken care of more than 35 homes and we have plenty of references and reviews to confirm our experience. We are also members of THS.

Silas is from Brazil, and Isabelle is from Canada. We speak several languages, including French, Portuguese, English, and Spanish. As a couple, we have shared over seven years of adventures, embracing slow travel and immersing ourselves in diverse cultures and languages. We enjoy meeting new people, learning about their traditions, and experiencing life from a local perspective.

Isabelle is a freelance photographer, graphic designer, yoga teacher, and veterinary nurse. Silas, on the other hand, possesses expertise in various manual tasks, general maintenance, and construction. He is also skilled in housekeeping, troubleshooting, and handyman work. Together, we are a versatile team dedicated to taking care of your home and pets with the utmost care and professionalism.

We are responsible, mature, and grounded individuals who value simplicity. Non-smokers/drinkers, we enjoy nature, quiet evenings, and daytime explorations. We prefer a tranquil lifestyle, prioritizing meaningful connections over parties.

Why they want to house sit

We love animals and have extensive experience caring for all kinds, from cats and dogs to reptiles, birds, rabbits, farm animals, rodents and ferrets. Housesitting offers the perfect combination of our passions: caring for animals, slow travel and exploring new places. Since we can't bring our own pets when we travel, housesitting allows us to give love and attention to animals while experiencing local cultures and communities. We enjoy slow travel, immersing ourselves in new environments, and connecting with people. For us, it's the ideal way to blend and balance our love for animals with our desire to see the world more deeply and authentically.
