About this sitter
Hi there! I’m Christine and I work in event marketing :-) It’s funny that when I was younger, I wanted to be a zookeeper. As I went into adulthood, I explored professions and realized I *also* love meeting & talking to people. So, I wound up doing what I do now!. Lol. Caring for pets however, fulfills that part of my soul that wants to be around animals all the time.
I am passionate about health and fitness — I exercise daily and do not smoke. Since I’m organized and like to keep spaces clean, your home will be as neat & tidy as you left it upon your return.
I also am *so* big on communication, so you can be confident I'll send you updates throughout the day and in turn, I will be responsive to the calls & texts you send me!
Friends describe me as cheerful, talkative, loving, and best of all - funny. Hopefully you and your pets will think the same ?.
Why they want to house sit
I’m excited about seeing new places, starting new friendships (with you!), and having the companionship of cute animals all at the same time!
Their experience
I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and birds my whole life and have cared for many family and friends’ pets. The time I spend with animals is special to me. From the different personalities, the curious behaviors, and the affection & cuddles — I have grown to love it all. By this point in life, I’ve helped feed, bathe, groom, walk, nurture, and administer medication for both my & my loved ones’ pets. If you’d like to do a video call with me beforehand, I’m happy to! Christine was great and watched Cal for us for our long weekend. She came by a few days before and met us and the pets, taking notes on her phone and video as we showed her around. We had the absolute pleasure of having Christine as our pet sitter and house sitter, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we first connected, she was warm, friendly, and incredibly easy to communicate with. She made us feel completely at ease about leaving our pets and home in her care — which is something we don’t take lightly. Christine has such a natural and genuine love for animals. Our pets immediately bonded with her, and it was clear she wasn’t just “doing a job” — she truly cared. She took the time to understand each of their routines, personalities, and needs, and gave them so much affection and attention while we were away. We came back to happy, calm pets who clearly felt safe and loved in her presence. One of the things we appreciated most was Christine’s flexibility and kindness. When our vacation unexpectedly got extended, she didn’t hesitate to adjust her plans and continue taking care of everything at home. She was so accommodating and understanding, which made a stressful situation much easier for us. On top of being a fantastic caregiver, Christine was also a joy to talk to. She has such a warm, positive presence, and it felt more like a trusted friend was staying in our home. She treated the space with so much respect and care — everything was spotless when we returned, and she even went above and beyond in small ways we didn’t expect. We can’t recommend Christine enough. She is reliable, thoughtful, compassionate, and genuinely amazing at what she does. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets and your home as if they were her own — and be a lovely human to work with along the way — Christine is the one. Christine is very thorough. She asks questions so that she knows exactly what you need from her. I knew that Birdy was in great hands. We came back to a perfectly clean house and I think Birdy might even have had a spa day too!

Christine was wonderful. She took amazing care of Pablo and left the place spotless. Her attention to detail and communication is outstanding. I particularly appreciated her coming up with all her questions ahead of time during our introductory call (I wasn't available to meet in-person even though she offered).
