I’ve made my home by the sea and mountains, where I enjoy swimming, hiking, reading, writing, and reflecting.
While I value this quieter life, I also enjoy a change of pace. At times I miss the bustle of city life — sitting in a street café with a coffee, watching the world go by. I prefer immersion rather than just passing through a place.
Pets add a special dimension for me, whether it’s sharing a walk outdoors or having calm company while reading. I make sure they feel settled and well cared for, and I find things work best when the days have a natural rhythm — time for activity, rest, and simply enjoying the environment.
Why they want to house sit
House sitting makes travel more affordable and lets me experience places in a more genuine, local way.
I enjoy being in new surroundings — it keeps me refreshed and open to new perspectives — and house sitting allows me to combine that with the companionship of animals.

A wonderful meeting of good energy
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Michael and feel truly grateful that we have met him and he took care of our home and our cat . From the very first interaction, his open-hearted energy and kindness made it feel as though we had known each other for a long time already. Michael stayed at our place for almost three weeks over Christmas, he took excellent care of our house and, most importantly, of our cat. We had a great communication, he kept us updated almost every day, letting us know how things were going. What impressed us most was how naturally and intuitively he understood how to approach our cat who is not the friendlies in the world and needs time to adjust to other people. Reading in Michael's messages about how their relationship developed over the weeks , with our cat becoming completely comfortable with him by the end, was truly heartwarming. To make things more clear, I will leave a comment from my father when I told him how good he was getting along with the cat: "He must be really special if the cat likes him" and that describes it perfectly. When we returned, the house was in perfect order and the many plants we also left in his care were also in great shape. Michael also showed incredible thoughtfulness by offering small gifts for our daughter and flowers for me, which was such a lovely and unexpected gesture. Michael is a kind, open, and warm person with a great sense of humor, and at the same time he gives you complete confidence that your home and pet are in the very best and safe hands We are deeply appreciative of the care, attention, and kindness he showed during his stay and for the feeling of trust and connection that was there from the very beginning. Warm and reliable person
Communication with Micheel is reliable, proactive and simple. We had a video call before his trip and I'm very glad that I had the opportunity to meet Michael live, when he was in Berlin. We could have talked for a long time. Michael left the flat tidy and clean and the cats looked happy. He left them all sorts of treats and also thought of them in the pre-call communication. On top of that, the gratitude of Michael's stay was palpable. Thank you!

Excellent, Respectful sitter
Michael sat our house in Germany for several weeks. His communication was excellent. He helped keep the garden maintained, everything was left clean, he even forwarded mail through email and kept in touch with us at every turn. Very conscientious, security conscious and acts with integrity. Michael also had high praise from neighbours. We would recommend Michael unreservedly.

Lovely person,
Michael spent 10 days in our apartment with our cat Loui while we were on vacation. We met him via zoom, which was uncomplicated and easy. We directly felt a good connection and comfortable with and around him. Michael is a very friendly and mindful person. He thought about things like an emergency phonenumber for the vet and stuff like that, which made us feel very confident and trustful in his ability and character to take care of our home and the cat very well. And he really did. He was very good reachable, whenever we texted him and offered to help us out in every possible occuring circumstance. He was very respectful towards our stuff and left the apartment very clean and tidied. We are very happy to have found him as a sitter and couldn't have thought of anyone better for the time period. We had a very nice holiday, knowing our home and our little furry friend were in absolutely good hands. Michael gave us peace in our minds, some real funny and lovely conversations and we are happy to have met him that way.
