About this sitter

We are a responsible, educated, and mature couple - a charity policy advisor who works remotely and a consultant pediatrician currently on sabbatical - who enjoy caring for both homes and pets. We’re looking for sits where we can provide animals with attentive, loving care while ensuring the home is kept secure, clean, and well-maintained.

With one of us working remotely and the other taking time out from a busy career, this is the perfect way to explore together while offering peace of mind to homeowners. Yes. We have both cared for pets and homes over many years - from cats and dogs to small animals - including pets with special needs such as administering medication or maintaining strict routines. We’ve also managed plant care, deliveries, and general home upkeep, treating every property as if it were our own.

What can they bring to the assignment

Trustworthiness: We both hold up-to-date enhanced DBS clearance and have professional backgrounds in healthcare and charity work.

Pet care & health: Routine-led, affectionate care - walks, play, feeding - plus confident medication administration (as directed). We monitor for early signs of illness and handle issues calmly, including basic pet first aid and CPR if ever required.

Home care: Keep properties clean, secure, and in good order; follow house rules and treat your home with respect.

Communication: Proactive and regular communication from the beginning to the end of a house sit, including daily update photos and videos, quick responses, and flexible attitude.

Problem-solving: Calm, practical, and resourceful if anything unexpected comes up.
