Vet assistant/ traveling pet sitter

About this sitter

Hi! I'm Ylen I'm a vet assistant and work full time as pet sitter in North Carolina, I work with all type of dogs and have lot of experience with cats, my first business which was pioneer in the Dominican Republic was a cage free cat hotel, opened in 2013 (closed at the moment in 2021). I love my job and can't imagine my life without it.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit to be able to travel more which is something I haven't done.

Their experience

I am very experienced, I have many years in the pet industry which started way back when I was a child me and my mom used to rescue birds, cats, dogs, and I continued to do so, when money was a problem to keep doing it is when I decided for vet school. And work with the animal rescuers community in exchange for a small amount of money or food to be able to keep providing for the one's I have rescued, this gave me a lot of popularity in the community which lead me to open a pet hotel later on, years later I decided to move to another country and until today I'm still pet sitting in my home, I'm an independent pet sitter and also have a profile on rover with over 280 positive reviews from both housesitting and boarding at my home. My partner works from home and we enjoy taking care of all pups, we are also chicken lovers, and he would like to tag along with me on some of my trips.

Ps. A good thing that benefit my house sitting job is I have OCD so my clients home are always spotless ??
