About this sitter

We are a couple of traveling teachers who enjoy discovering new places and living like locals. With years of experience in education, we bring responsibility, patience, and organization to everything we do. We also have experience caring for houses, gardens, and especially dogs, which we truly enjoy.

We are non-smokers, active, and respectful of every home we stay in. We value clear communication and always make sure that your house and pets are cared for as if they were our own.

Why they want to house sit

We want to house sit because it allows us to combine two things we highly value: trust and cultural exchange. We enjoy giving homeowners peace of mind knowing that their home and pets will be well cared for, while at the same time having the opportunity to experience a place as locals rather than tourists. For us, it’s a responsible, respectful, and meaningful way to travel.

Their experience

Yes, we do have experience. For three years, we took care of two dogs and a cat that were left in our charge in Patagonia, Argentina, making sure they were well fed, walked, and loved. We have also walked dogs for other people, including a puppy and a Belgian Shepherd, both with high energy and specific needs. In addition, we have been involved in rescuing stray animals, providing them with care and attention until finding them a safe home.
All of this experience has taught us to be responsible, patient, and attentive to the unique needs of every pet.

What can they bring to the assignment

We can bring responsibility, commitment, and genuine care for both the home and the pets. As teachers, we are used to being organized, reliable, and patient — qualities that we apply to house and pet sitting. We have experience with walking, feeding, cleaning, and providing companionship, while always keeping the house tidy and respecting the owners’ space.
In addition, we have knowledge of electricity and gardening, which allows us to handle small fixes and keep gardens and outdoor spaces well maintained during our stay
