I am a single, reliable, mature professional person. I am extremely neat, efficient, reliable with a strong work ethic. I enjoy spending time on my own and travelling, I adore animals - cats in particular. I have been working remotely for over 8 years and have no dependents so flexible on dates and locations. I am a non-smoker and would only be interested in non-smoking properties. I am available for short term and long term sits.

Why they want to house sit

I enjoy travelling and experiencing different locations, although I am not really interested in doing typical tourist things, it's more about the environment. I spend most of my time between London, France/EU and USA and travel often. I also love winter so don't mind cold locations. I work remotely so would be working at 'home' so keeping animals company is ideal and I am the type of person who would prefer to spend a quiet evening at home rather than a night out. I can easily adapt from city life to remote, quiet locations.

Their experience

I have grown up with animals all my life, I regularly pet sit for my friends and family members when they need to travel as I prefer to know the animals are well taken care of and getting enough attention, and their medication, so I would rather look after them myself so I don't worry about them (even though they are not actually my pets but I feel like they are).

I have experience looking after animals including cats, (7 at a time), dogs and even baby deer. I always ensure the pets come first making sure they are well looked-after, given constant attention and are content. I also have experience in looking after animals that require daily medication including tablets, topical creams, drops and eyedrops.

What can they bring to the assignment

I love spending time around and with animals in general and go on Safari holidays often. I am reliable, very neat and can provide a number of reviews from places I have rented in the past, confirming your property will be well looked after. I have also lived on my own for years so quite capable of ensuring everything works and maintaining the necessary. I am discreet and appreciate privacy, both for myself and for home owners.

As for looking after animals - as an example, I recently looked after 7 cats & a dog, I was staying on my own when an an emergency tsunami evacuation order occurred. I managed to evacuate all 7 cats, (including 3 rescued cats who are still nervous of people and prefer to stay outside). I refused to leave any behind so managed to get them all into their carriers and drive them to another home in a safer area, together with all their necessary food, water, blankets, kitty litter and supplies to last a while so that they would have everything they needed. I didn't even consider packing any of my own essentials until they were all safe. Thankfully the evacuation order was lifted so they were very happy to return home later that evening, all safe and unharmed.
During the time I looked after the 7 cats, 3 of the rescue cats who live outside were eventually comfortable enough after a few days that they would allow me to brush them and they'd follow me around the garden for 'walks' and sit on my lap. One of them was comfortable enough to eventually start coming inside the house for short periods and investigate the surroundings for the first time ever.
I have also looked after small sized deer that we had on a farm at one stage, they were wild but I spent so much time with them that they eventually would eat from my hand, while nobody else could go near them.
