About this sitter

We are Alex and Joanna - a forest engineer turned web developer and an architect. Joanna, 35, specializes in innovation and technology and is passionate about heritage seeds, cooking, and animals. Alex, in his fifties, enjoys creating websites but would rather spend his time outdoors working with wood and antique tools. We travel with our three well-behaved companions: Ella (7-year-old rescue dog from Greece), Mathilde (our independent outdoor cat), and Alfie (6-month-old Belgian Shepherd). We're looking for meaningful long-term assignments where we can contribute to property care while enjoying outdoor living and connecting with animals.

Yes, we have 10 years of house-sitting experience (with a recent three-year break). Our animals have accompanied us on many assignments and integrate well with existing pets. Beyond house sitting, we have extensive experience with farm life including horses, donkeys, poultry, as well as gardening, pool maintenance, wood cutting, and general property work. We're multilingual (English, French, German) and completely self-sufficient with our own vehicle.
