Soft paws & wet kisses I love caring for your pets, plants and property. Pets warm up asking for love on their terms and we become well acquainted. Multi-species, rescue & elder pet experience. Your plants indoors and out get special care according to your needs. Sits with no pets are also a specialty.

Why they want to house sit

A ‘bit of a homebody’ I love nurturing pets and plants while keeping property safe. Many owners have become friends asking me to return multiple times. As an amateur photographer finding unique nature, wildlife and city scapes is enjoyable.

Their experience

Experience: Paid & free sits in 12+ states 2016 to 2020 & 2022 to present my home is Colorado. A combination of city & rural (1-40 acres) locations; I have the ability to remain calm during weather or other events, highly organized & clean. With rising costs I prefer close proximity to grocery, farmers markets and other stores &/or delivery access.

While this site shows 19 completed sits the list is much longer. I completed many MMH sits in the early years of this journey. Suffice to say I can provide references often local.

Equipment: wood & pellet stoves, generators, mowers, out buildings. Chickens, snow removal, wildlife & bird feeding. Orchards, greenhouses, care & use of vehicles & more. To date no loss of property or pet under my care.

What can they bring to the assignment

Communication with pictures keeps you informed and able to relax. My specialty is mid to long term sits (2-6+ months) with and without pets. I am familiar with onsite Airbnb or renters (separate entrance), security cameras even smart houses, and alarms. Ask me in advance & I’ll work with you to accommodate.

A former home and pet owner my kids loved pets & our garden. Varied career most recent K-12 substitute teacher, driving instructor, corporate sales, state & federal jobs passed rigorous background checks.

I enjoy photography, volunteering, writing and learning about the history of your area. A 'bit of a quiet homebody' giving attention to pets & property. I cook & eat healthy. (I can but rarely drink, non smoker, scent free). Most of my work requires good WiFi & I love music.

I give all locations consideration but with rising costs help with travel costs for long distance is beneficial. Thank you
