Hi there! My name is Lindsay and I’m a 28-year-old student completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. I live in beautiful Squamish, BC, and lead an adventurous and active lifestyle. When I’m not studying, I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, and spending time outdoors.

I absolutely love animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats (including high-energy adventure dogs!). Friends and family often describe me as dependable, kind, and attentive, and I always treat others’ homes and pets with the same care and respect I give my own.

In a house sit, I’m looking for the opportunity to support homeowners by keeping their pets happy, healthy, and well-loved while ensuring their home is cared for and secure. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I truly enjoy building bonds with the pets I look after.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit as a way to travel while completing my studies, and to experience the culture of new places from the perspective of a local rather than a tourist. I also love spending time with animals — caring for pets makes travelling feel more grounded and fulfilling. House sitting allows me to combine these passions while reducing costs as a student, all while helping homeowners feel at ease knowing their pets and home are well cared for.

I have plenty of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including high-energy breeds, and I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s pets and homes many times. I bring the same responsibility and care I use with my own dog to every home I sit for.
