About this sitter

My name is Mel Rudkiewicz and I am an Australian based in the US. I am an author, online Clinical Hypnotherapist and full-time pet, plant and house sitter who has done long-term (several months at a time) sits all over the world in 16 different countries including India, Brazil, Costa Rica, Spain, the Netherlands, Thailand and rural Indonesia. Now based in the US, I am currently seeking long-term sits ideally in my home base of California or alternatively in places like NYC, Puerto Rico, Texas (Austin preferably) or Florida.

Why they want to house sit

As a gentle, kind and thoughtful soul who's life has been dedicated to the care and nurture of people, plants and animals, I strongly believe that I have the passion, sensitivity and the life experience to be the ideal house, plant and pet sitter.

Their experience

Since March 2022, I have been a full-time pet and house sitter and have covered dozens of properties all over the world. Additionally, having previously worked as a junior landscaper for a landscape company that covered properties all over Southern and Northern California, I have an exceptional green thumb and a keen love of plants.
