About this sitter
I’m Tomasz. I was born and raised in Poland but have called the south of England my home for many years. I am 47, happily married with 2 daughters at university age. For the past 22 years I have worked for the same company, and my role allows me to work fully remotely. I am eager to explore new places and would gladly take on a house/pet-sitting assignment anywhere in the world.
I love the outdoors - anything from hiking, through to gardening or reading a book outside. I am an animal lover and a happy owner of 2 Lucas Terrier dogs. I enjoy scenic walks and mountain hiking. Cycling in our local country park has been my after-work routine for years.
Why they want to house sit
Traveling is my passion. By staying in someone’s home, I can live like a local, explore neighborhoods that tourists rarely see, and truly appreciate the rhythm of daily life in a new corner of the world. Beyond the practical benefits, I love the personal connections that develop through pet/house-sitting when hosts become my friends.
Their experience
I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals, tending a garden and handling routine maintenance tasks are not foreign to me.
To date I have successfully completed two assignments.
Sweden:
Looked after a family’s home, three cats and sizeable flock of chicken and chicks, managing feeding schedules and basic upkeep of the property.
Wales:
Took full charge of a farmhouse and its residents: a pony, two peacocks, and wild birds. Duties also involved monitoring a flock of sheep grazing in nearby meadows, checking both the animals’ well-being and the condition of the fencing.
Both clients have left positive references.

Excellent house-sitter
Tomasz was a perfect fit for my somewhat eccentric (but nice) farm house in Monmouthshire. He came at short notice, to my great relief, and looked after Crumpet, my old pony, and the 2 peacocks as well as 140 young sheep. Everything was left just as I like it, communications were good and he was clear about his need for decent broadband for his work. I felt he could be absolutely trusted and would be delighted if he could help me again when I have to go away.

A great house-sitting experience
Another house-sitting experience and great again. We needed someone to take care of our property and animals, so we posted a request on our profile. From the beginning, it was very clear and direct communication, and we were sure that Tom is the right person. And he was. He arrived a couple of days earlier to show him how everything works, and we saw that he would manage all the duties without a problem. He is a big enthusiast of exploring new places, a big nature-lover, and a sportsman. Besides his jobs around the house, which he did perfectly, he was very active in his free time. Visiting cities around, hiking, jogging, cycling were activities that made him happy. It was a big help without any issues, and we would be happy if Tomasz comes to us as a housesitter anytime in the future. We can strongly recommend Tomasz to any host.
