About this sitter
We are a vegan family because we love animals and we are non-smokers. We have a lot of experience taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, gardens, and houses throughout Europe. I’m a Travel Agent. My wife is a federal public worker working online and she loves to paint. Our daughter is 7 years old and she loves to know people and is well-behaved. We speak Portuguese and also English. We love nature and love spending time with pets.
We are fully vaccinated and we have the digital European certificate.
Why they want to house sit
We enjoy getting to know people and new places, we also enjoy learning new abilities. We can say that we embrace and enjoy new cultures and get to know special places on our way to buying our own place.
Their experience
We always traveled and stayed at people’s houses using the Airbnb website. Our reviews are spotless and always 5 stars. After 2 years of being a member of the Mind My House community, we acquired a lot of experience taking care of several houses throughout Europe as dogs, cats, chickens, gardens, and even a windmill. Some owners required our family several times outside of the website, to contact us directly, some owners just didn't leave a review here and that´s why we have just a few reviews on this community. Please always leave a review.
What can they bring to the assignment
We will bring responsibility and respect while sitting in your house and whatever else you request. We will take care and manage what is needed and cherish your house as our own. We do not charge for the service but we may ask for sharing the fuel and toll costs depending on the distance. I can handle most of the general house repairs and my wife can take care of the garden and walk the pets. We don't pay utility bills or leave a safe deposit, if you need a renter or an employee this is not your website, this is a community of helpers.

A kind and conscientious family
Ricardo and his family looked after our property very well. They took good care of the plants and even did extra jobs that we had not asked for, but were very grateful for. There were some electrical problems that arose during their stay, and they proved to be very helpful in sorting out the issues, and stayed in contact with us throughout. Their daughter was a pleasure to meet, and she was very respectful of our home and belongings. I highly recommend them.
