About this sitter
Hi, we are Kate and Richard - married couple for 30+years!
We are semi-retired and financially self-sufficient. Kate worked as a salesmanager in the pharma sector, Richard was active for many years in the capital investment industry.
We own our own house with garden, understand the importance of caring for a property. We are familiar with the work in the house and in the garden.
We love animals, plants, and really enjoy taking care of them
Our passion is traveling. We travelled a lot in South East Asia, Latam America and Europe.
We are very active. We like hiking, kayaking, long distance walks.

Why they want to house sit
We’ve travelled to many main tourist sites, slept in anonymus hotels in the past and are now focussed on just experiencing a country’s culture and everyday life. Now we have no pets, so we welcome the chance to spend some quality time with animals.

We have 20+ years experience with own pets (dogs-Labrador and a rescue dog, cats, guinea pigs).
This year we’ve started pet sitting and we have three succesfull pet sits (Poland, Regensburg/Germany and Algarve). We have two excellent references on Facebook group Housesitting i Houesswapping Polska. We already have our first testimonial on MindMyHouse - from Algarve (Portugal)

We would treat your home and pets with the same care and respect as we treat our own. We always follow instructions and communicate effectively with owners. We will communicate frequently and sent updates/photos.
