We’re Madeleine and Levi, a reliable Australian couple fortunate enough to work and travel worldwide with our assistance trained Border Collie, Oats. After stepping back from corporate careers, we’re embracing a slower lifestyle where we can care for pets, homes, and properties while exploring new places. We’re open to both short- and long-term sits, from city apartments to rural acreage.

Why they want to house sit

For us, house sitting is the perfect way to combine our love of animals with our enjoyment of living in different communities. Having both grown up around animals—me (Madi) with cats, birds, and dogs, and Levi on farms with cows, horses, chickens, and pigs—we genuinely enjoy the companionship and routine pets bring. House sitting also allows us to offer peace of mind to homeowners by keeping homes safe and pets happy while they’re away. We know the stress of finding the right people to care for your space.

Yes. Together we’ve completed a wide range of sits, including:
• 3 months caring for 3 dogs (including anxious and elderly) and 2 cats.
• 2 months on a wine-country acreage maintaining gardens, pool, and a large home.
• 2 weeks rural sit with a large dog and property upkeep.
• Intermittent care for 4 herding/hunting dogs and 2 indoor cats.
• 1 month in a city terrace for a retired couple.

In addition, Levi’s farm upbringing gave him hands-on experience with livestock, while Madeleine’s lifelong experience with cats and dogs ensures she’s comfortable with both pets and property care.
