About this sitter

My boyfriend and I are currently looking for a house sit where we can stay together with our well-behaved dog. He’s calm, friendly, and fully house-trained. We’re ideally looking for a place with some outdoor space, as our dog enjoys spending time outside. We're happy to care for dogs, but would prefer sits without cats. We're responsible, respectful, and committed to taking great care of your home and pets while you're away. We are looking for 1 month +

Why they want to house sit

I love house sitting because it gives me the opportunity to experience new places in a more relaxed and local way, while also helping someone feel at ease about leaving their home and pets behind. I really enjoy the routine and sense of purpose that comes with caring for animals and a home. It’s a lovely way to slow down, spend quality time with my partner and our dog, and enjoy different environments - especially those with a bit of nature or outdoor space. House sitting feels like a win-win: we get to enjoy a peaceful stay, and the homeowner knows their space and pets are in good hands.

We’ve now completed six house sits, caring for a variety of animals including dogs and horses. Each sit has given us more experience, confidence, and appreciation for the trust homeowners place in us. We’re comfortable with routines like feeding, exercising, administering basic medication, and keeping pets calm and happy while their owners are away. We genuinely enjoy the responsibility and have received great feedback for being reliable, respectful, and communicative throughout each stay.
