I am an animal loving vegetarian (almost vegan) - trying to get there! Conscious of my carbon footprint, trying to be a better version of myself and do good in the world.

I regularly take care of my furry grandchild and would happily have a few dozen more!

I have worked in education for over 25 years and have (up until recently) always held an enhanced DBS certificate.

Why they want to house sit

I am at a stage in my life where I question what I REALLY want to do now, as I am just not ready to retire but also not wanting to work forever.

I would like to travel a bit now, especially within the UK to start with as there are so many places I have yet to see in the country I reside in.

Their experience

I have always had cats and dogs in my life, guinea pigs and hamsters have featured, along with chickens and horses. At one stage there was also a bearded lizard in the house too.

What can they bring to the assignment

I will happily go for long or short walks with your doggos, give lots of cuddles to cats and dogs, clean up after them and feed and water. Other animals will receive just as much love and affection.

I know how important and a part of the family your furry friends are and they would be equally as important to me. Their welfare first and foremost.

In the past I have volunteered at a horse sanctuary, which isn't fun in the middle of winter with snow coming down whilst poo picking, but it was a necessity and more hands made lighter work.
