Hello MindMyHouse! My name is Mike and I discovered MindMyHouse from a ChatGPT inquiry on sites posting a need for house/pet sitters. I currently am a contract employee for a large global bank that has a mandatory furlough requirement for all contract employees during holidays. For me this means over two weeks without pay. I applied for local seasonal work only to be told I was over-qualified! Don't ask me I didn't understand it either! I then discovered the option of providing house/pet sitting services and being able to enjoy an adventure at the same time. So, I thought, I am a dependable, responsible person who loves animals, food, music, movies, photography and travel. This might be an opportunity for me to make a nominal amount of money while not being paid from my regular job and have an adventure at the same time. I have a valid passport, have travelled for pleasure and business extensively in Europe, USA/Canada and to Australia; I have had 3 Great Danes and a Standard Schnauzer as an adult and have been a two time homeowner so I know the responsibilities of house/pet sitting.

I love to travel so the opportunity to prove a service, make a little additional income and have an adventure is truly appealing.

Their experience

Outside of local to South Florida friends and neighbors who I have been a house/pet sitter the MindMyHouse scenario will be my first presenting for a travel opportunity.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am not a spring chicken but I am not sedentary due to my maturity. I am responsible, dependable, educated, conscientious, empathetic, single, an animal lover and have a desire to meet good people, learn from new adventures and enjoy what life has to offer.
