Semi-retired English couple living in Spain

About this sitter

We are an active semi-retired English couple who own a B&B/Rural hotel near Ronda in Southern Spain. We close the B&B over the winter and like to travel to visit new places. We are not urban people so would look for somewhere in a rural or coastal setting.

Why they want to house sit

In addition to the above we are keen to look after dogs. We lost our own best friend - a german shepherd - at the old age of 14 earlier this year but cannot replace her at the moment as we are not sure where our future retirement plans will take us. So in the meantime we would love to ´´borrow´´ a canine friend (or two) for a while!

Their experience

We have experience in hosting housesitters and in holiday letting so have a good understanding of what both parties are looking for in a house sitting arrangement.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are very practical and are used to dealing with any minor maintenance issues as a result of our rural hotel experience!
