About this sitter

My name is Virginia and I live in Italy. I’m 47 years old and I’ve been working online for over 15 years, teaching cooking and nutrition.I also have a published book on mindful cooking, and I’m currently writing my second one to sell online. This is another reason why I enjoy discovering different regions in various countries—it allows me to learn about local ingredients and traditional dishes from each area.
I love traveling, discovering new cultures, languages, landscapes, and living in different places with their unique customs and activities.

I own a house with a large piece of land and many plants, but it's currently rented out, which is why I’m looking for opportunities to travel and explore by house-sitting and taking care of animals.

I’m very aware of animals' needs, as I once had two cats, a dog, a sheep, and four chickens, who are now being cared for by others in my home country.
I'm a very responsible and careful person, and quite meticulous when it comes to cleanliness.
I also enjoy peace and quiet, and house-sitting allows me to embrace this lifestyle.
I don’t smoke, I have no addictions, and I’ve never had any. I’ve been doing deep personal development work for many years, which allows me to connect with others sincerely and honestly.

Why they want to house sit

I love traveling, and since I can work from anywhere in the world, and I also love animals, I feel very qualified to care for and look after homes and animals. As I said before, I've had many animals and a home, and I know the needs that arise and how to ask for help, as well as the importance of taking care of the places and the beings we love.

Their experience

I've moved more than 15 times in the last 3 years, so I have a lot of experience adapting to new places, spaces, rhythms, and needs.
I also hold a degree in Tourism and Hospitality, and I’ve traveled to 18 countries around the world, which has helped me adapt easily to local customs, schedules, and ways of life. I’m a very flexible and understanding person.

What can they bring to the assignment

I love plants, gardens, animals, and nature. I'm someone who inhabits the place with love and awareness, no matter where I move. I understand the importance of a home for people and for myself, and the importance of taking good care of it.
I'm committed to being extremely responsible with all the spaces and beings that inhabit a house.
I’m a practical person when it comes to household repairs or maintenance, as I lived alone in my own home for 10 years and had to learn how to handle many things I never imagined I would. However, when there are issues beyond my knowledge, I always reach out to the appropriate professionals to take care of the situation.
