About this sitter
Hi!
We are a very friendly and caring retired Australian couple (non smokers)coming over to Europe for a few months. This will be our second visit and won’t be the last! I was born in Latvia and always feel drawn to return for more…
We are an active couple who like to explore, go on walks, meet new people, but also have our quiet time to read a book or watch a film and most of all to snuggle up with a furry friend or two on the couch in the evening (Down time is definitely a necessity for us).
Why they want to house sit
We have thoroughly enjoyed our four years of house sitting in Australia( also two months in the UK last year) and thought it would be lovely to have some nice "homely" stays in Europe and look after someone else’s pets, gardens and pools whilst they enjoy a relaxing and worry free holiday.
We are looking forward to meeting you and your family.
Their experience
We have cared for dogs( big and small), cats and chickens and fish. Also have looked after pools, gardens, plant babies( inside plants) and done general house maintenance.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are easy going, considerate and extremely reliable people( have never cancelled a sit!) as we only apply for house sits that we really want to do and are absolutely sure will be able to do.
Having a few years behind us does have a benefit in regards to knowing what to do if things go wrong.
