About this sitter
Hi!
We are a very friendly and caring retired Australian couple (non smokers)coming over to Europe for a few months. This will be our second visit and won’t be the last! I was born in Latvia and always feel drawn to return for more…
We are an active couple who like to explore, go on walks, meet new people, but also have our quiet time to read a book or watch a film and most of all to snuggle up with a furry friend or two on the couch in the evening (Down time is definitely a necessity for us).
Why they want to house sit
We have thoroughly enjoyed our four years of house sitting in Australia( also two months in the UK last year) and thought it would be lovely to have some nice "homely" stays in Europe and look after someone else’s pets, gardens and pools whilst they enjoy a relaxing and worry free holiday.
We are looking forward to meeting you and your family.
Their experience
We have cared for dogs( big and small), cats and chickens and fish. Also have looked after pools, gardens, plant babies( inside plants) and done general house maintenance.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are easy going, considerate and extremely reliable people( have never cancelled a sit!) as we only apply for house sits that we really want to do and are absolutely sure will be able to do.
Having a few years behind us does have a benefit in regards to knowing what to do if things go wrong.

We were so lucky to have Signe and Graham offer to come and look after our precious boy Buddy for a month whilst we were overseas. We could not have had kinder, cleaner, more reliable and helpful dog/housesitters. Buddy was kept in his routine and we returned to a very happy dog and a very well cared for home. We cannot recommend Signe and Graham enough! They took such great care of our animals, and we received many updates through the trip, which totally put us at ease while we were away. They were also very flexible when we decided to extend our trip by a few days, and were happy to stay longer last minute. The house was also left so clean, which we were very appreciative of. We hope to be able to have Signe and Graham stay again in the future, thank you again!!

We cannot praise Signe and Graham enough for the recent Housesit that they completed for us. What a relief to know your pets are in safe hands and being cared for by people who really enjoy their time with them. Also to come home after 3 weeks to find the house beautifully clean and cared for made it so nice to come home to. They kept contact and sent us photos of our pets, all without being intrusive on our time away. We would not hesitate to recomend them for any house sitting requirement and only hope that they may consider helping us out next time. Bravo Signe and Graham.

I would highly recommend Signe and Graham
Signe and Graham were the first house sitters we have used and I'm so pleased we chose them, they were absolutely fabulous. They were really easy to communicate with in the lead-up to us going away, extremely accommodating when our trip got delayed by a week due to COVID, sent lots of photo updates whilst we were away, kept our lawns neat and tidy, and ensured our plants were well looked after. They did an amazing job looking after our Groodle, even going out to buy more dog food when we couldn't get any delivered. We arrived back home late at night and the house was absolutely immaculate with fresh sheets on the bed, and milk in the fridge for a cup of tea in the morning! I would highly recommend Signe and Graham, and would happily invite them back to house/dog sit for us again and again.
