About this sitter
Hello! We are Matt and Jo, a couple of Brits who are working remotely. We currently live in London but are always on the lookout for our next trip. We LOVE to travel, almost as much as snuggling and playing with little furry friends! We also love cooking, a deep clean (we find it therapeutic!) and photography. In fact, Matt is working on building out his portfolio to become a pet portrait photographer and is happy to snap some portraits of your furry friends for you during house sits!

Why they want to house sit
Our two favorite things are traveling and spending time with animals! As we plan on exploring this little world we call home over the next few years, we know having a pet ourselves right now may not be fair to them. When we found this service we thought to ourselves - perfect! We have the potential of traveling AND looking after cute furry friends!
Their experience
Yes! We've been on the Trusted House Sitters platform for many years as a host and since we left New York have sat multiple dogs, cats and even chickens! We've both owned cats ourselves when we were growing up and before we discovered THS would take any opportunity to look after our friends dogs when they went on vacation.
What can they bring to the assignment
First and foremost, we are true animal lovers. We'll prioritize the animal's health and wellbeing during our stay ensuring their typical routine is followed, their feeding schedule is met and they're given a lot of love and attention. Anything to make them the happiest pets to return to for their owners!
We're also fantastic communicators and can provide photo/video updates to the cadence each host wants. We're also very clean and tidy and try to ensure host's homes are in even better condition than when they left them.

Such a lovely couple
Such a lovely couple! We couldn't have asked for a more genuinely responsible, fun, and accommodating sitters. Joanna and Matt showered our 15 year old pup with such love and thoughtfulness. Before and during the stay communication was thorough, consistent and upbeat. They even left the house in better shape than we left it. We would highly recommend them and have them back anytime.

Joanna and Matt were an absolute dream
Joanna and Matt were an absolute dream from the first phone call. Incredibly responsive and communicative before the sit and we didn’t have a worry in the world when they were here. The dogs were instant fans and we don’t remember the cats ever being so affectionate with new people. They immediately felt like life long friends and they’ve come back for a second sit already. 100% would recommend them to anybody needing trustworthy and confident sitters.

Would give more stars if I could! Jo and Matt were so caring and attentive. My little dog is nervous and shy but he immediately loved th both. And my cat had plenty of cuddles and attention. They were also super clean and tidy and communicated with me throughout the sit. Thank you both, I hope you had a great stay!!
