About this sitter

Hello!
I am a mixed media artist who teaches ceramics at a local community college. I love art, animals and teaching. When I am not in the classroom or sculpting in my studio, I love to hike the Oakland hills or lift weights at my local gym. I raised my three adult children here in the Bay Area and I am about to become a grandma!
I love the adventure of staying in new places while also getting the chance to enjoy being with a pet and taking care of plants. I usually teach on Tue/Thurs, but other than that I am flexible with my time.

Why they want to house sit

My pup, Nelly passed away in 2013 and I miss her so much that I started to watch my friend's dogs and cats. I also love the adventure of staying in new places which is one of the reasons I want to be part of this service.

Their experience

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of looking after my son’s energetic little Yorkie and my boss’s medium-sized pup, making me comfortable with different sizes and temperaments. I also spent a year house-sitting for a close friend, caring for their dog, cat & chickens and their home while they were away.
As a former homeowner of 26 years, where I raised three kids and our beloved pup Nelly, I understand the importance of responsibility, and care in keeping a household. I also loved tending my garden during those years, from a thriving vegetable patch to an art filled succulent garden.

You can count on me to provide dependable, loving attention to your pets, whether that means daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in helping them feel safe and loved.
