Professional couple eager to meet new places, pets and their people

About this sitter

Hi there - we're John and Faith, a couple of digital vagabonds (working remotely in accounting, and grantmaking for social and environmental justice, respectively).

Why they want to house sit

We've never been without a pet presence until earlier this year, when our dog Louie passed away from cancer. Now, we're ready to share the love again and explore new geographies along the way.

Their experience

We bring over 60 years of combined experience caring for animals and homes in various capacities. We've been fostering dogs together since 2010 - focusing on those with health and behavioral issues not suited for the shelter environment - hosting many dozens through rescue organizations in NYC and the Bay area. We love cats, too and delight in caring for them when our friends ask. Since our day jobs are remote and we don't have kids, we like to move around a lot so we often sit for friends and family along the way.

What can they bring to the assignment

Hailing from a ranching/farming background in Colorado, Faith grew up handy (since renovating two century-old properties) and loves to garden (having learned to landscape while growing up with a Master Gardener). A neighbor once described ours as a "willing spirit," and we'd bring that to your pets and home.
