Hello,

I am hoping I might suit your needs as a house sitter and companion for your four, or two legged friends. It would be a pleasure to walk, talk with, attentively feed or play with your special pets and respectfully cuddle them according to what they like and your directed preferences.

I am a High School Visual Art and Humanities teacher from Queensland, Australia and will soon be leaving for an extended trip through the US and Europe. Since 2017, I have enjoyed making house sitting part of my holiday routine and I am looking forward to more authentic international travel experiences in local areas I hope to visit.

As a fit and active, mature age animal lover, my children and I have had a variety of pets over the years and looked after many that were not my own. In the home and garden I am very clean, tidy, conscientious, non-smoker, non- drinker and a natural green thumb who would love your pets and maintain your property as my own. I have also previously needed and advertised for a house-sitter, so understand the concerns of having someone in your home while you are away. You hope they will care for and show respect to the home that represents your life.

My own house and garden is beautiful, as I love to keep it weeded, trimmed and blooming. I know how it can be, when you're away and you start to wonder how your garden and pets are doing!

Why they want to house sit

In March '26 I will be leaving for an extended trip sequentially through the US, Europe, Ireland and the UK. where I will be visiting friends and family while enjoying a few solo adventures along the way. I discovered the joys of house sitting when visiting my adult children, who lived in far away places. It gave everyone more personal space and because I do not have my own pets due to work commitments, house sitting gave me the opportunity to get my 'furry or feathery fix' of cuddly moments.

Their experience

I am an experienced house sitter with a broad range of animal care experiences including administering medications. My first time house sitting was in 2017 when I needed to travel interstate to visit my son's family. As his new apartment was very small, I joined a house sit site and since then have had some wonderful moments with gorgeous pets and made a few enduring friendships.

What can they bring to the assignment

It is a combination of my commitment and creative pleasure to send lots of fun and informative photos and updates. During the stay, I diligently maintain the house and garden and adhere to the home owner's instructions. If a problem arises, I am quick to communicate and follow through with the owner's instructions. I value the opportunity to make the house/ pet owner feel safe and confident that their special pet/person and property will be conscientiously cared for with love and kindness.
