About this sitter

Both my mom (61) and I (31) work from home as painter and remote worker in marketing (as well as bein an author) so we'd love to travel, see new places, and get to take care of furry friends. Being able to get away from the gray, rainy and cold weather over the winter sounds wonderful, and if we can help others with looking after their house and their beloved pets in exchange for a nice place to stay in a country we'd love to explore, that's a win-win for everyone. :)

Our profile lists us as family with children since we are a family, mother and daughter, but no childred (except for me as daughter).

Why they want to house sit

We know how hard it can be to travel when you have a dog or a cat so we'd like to make someone's dream vacation a possibly by giving them peace of mind that their house and pets are safe.

Their experience

Up until when our dog passed away two years ago, we always had a dog, usually a rescue from a shelter. We've had little dogs--a Dachshund und a Fox Terrier--mid-sized dogs--a Beagle--and larger dogs in form of a Husky-Collie mix or a Kangal-German Shepherd mix. Safe to say we know our way around our four-legged friends.

When it comes to cats, we used to have a rescue for 12 years with diabetes.

What can they bring to the assignment

A friendly and gentle attitude and a love for long walks and cuddles. We also know how to keep a house and garden tidy.
