About this sitter

Hey there!
I am a Spanish philologist, writer, translator and musician. Amateur gardener and horse rider. I love animals and nature and I am looking forward to house sit in a peaceful environment, taking care of animals and plants, while I write and translate poetry and essays. Despite being very calm I love working in the garden and being outside with animals, trekking, swimming, etc. I am a vegan, non smoker, quiet but active, experienced on country life with animals in several countries. I have done quite a lot of volunteering in sustainability projects and I am bit learned in permaculture. In short: a poet-gardener with a passion for animals.

I wrote my thesis about the role of women in Folktales & Fairytales and I am very interested in stories, folk traditions, world poetry and history.

Why they want to house sit

I am looking for a calm space where I can create, write and translate while being in close company of animals and nature. Preferably for longer terms, as I like to commit to the places and animals that I care for.

Their experience

I have always lived with animals - cats, dogs, horses, donkeys. I am also experienced in horse keeping and tending a small organic private garden. I love trees most of all but of course all kind of plants as well. I am well experienced with animals and nature in different countries through extensive travelling and volunteering (WOOOF, EVS, Earth First...), mainly in Europe and Africa.
