Reliable couple to look after your home and pets!

About this sitter

Aura and I love animals, gardening, cooking, and traveling. We're a digital nomad couple in our early 40s who live for travel. We're friendly, dependable, and handy around the house. We are looking for a house sit with a good internet connection, since we both work online, ideally with pets or farm animals, and a garden. We are also looking for longer assignments as we prefer slow travel.

Why they want to house sit

As much as we love animals, we don't have any of our own since we travel so much. We thought we could combine our love for animals and travel by looking after people's properties and pets. We both enjoy gardening, and are very clean and respectful of the properties we manage.

Their experience

Clive ran a successful Airbnb (Superhost with over 70+ 5-star reviews) for a couple of years until the Covid pandemic forced him to close his business. Apart from that, over the past 5 years, both of us have house sat for friends, family, and property owners in Malta, Germany, Cyprus and Romania, to look after the property, plants, gardens, and pets.

What can they bring to the assignment

Aura is an avid and careful gardener (if you don't already have a herb garden but want one, give her time and you'll be in for a treat!). She's passionate about flower arrangement, cooking, pets, and is a clean freak (to a fault)!
Clive is physically fit, is handy around the house, is comfortable handling large animals, and is dependable and trustworthy. He speaks English, French, Italian and Maltese fluently, and is conversational in Spanish. As a former diplomat and senior communications advisor, he can handle people, pressure, and emergencies.
