Hi there! My name is Juliana, and I am a budding traveler looking for a peaceful house sitting experience. I am new to MindMyHouse. I enjoy experiencing new places as both a tourist and as a seasoned local, mostly relying on my instincts to take me around rather than a detailed guidebook.

I love meeting new animals, especially cats. I have my own cat at home, and I've taken care of chickens and rabbits before. I rely on public transportation, so any place that is accessible is a plus for me. I also don't mind walking or biking around, if needed. I would love to take care of a peaceful home in a nice place, and see what its surrounding area has to offer.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit because I enjoy having a home base while traveling. I also love animals. I know the best way to get to know new pets is to stay with them, and the best way to get them to like me is to feed them. There's also a level of responsibility to house sitting that gives structure to what might be an otherwise unstructured time, and I like that idea.

Their experience

I have experience babysitting and taking care of people's plants and homes while they are away. While I have yet to actually stay in someone's home, my skills can easily transfer over to a successful house sitting experience.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am highly responsible, and I have an attention to detail that some might see as a curse rather than a blessing. I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. I'm a chronic recorder, so I rarely forget things. I'm also extremely adaptable, which would hopefully not be needed in house sitting, but is something I pride myself in.
