About this sitter
Hi, I’m a 61 yo retired woman living in Connecticut, USA. I’ve lived extensively overseas during both my childhood and adult years. I’ve lived or traveled to Poland, East Germany (1980-1982), Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, South Africa, Kenya, Guinea, Ivory Coast and Djibouti.
I am an avid animal lover and I’ve had a lot of animal experience over the years both as a pet owner, working as a veterinary technician (for 6 years) and volunteering at a horse rescue.
I’m very low key and love outdoors and nature. I’m a dependable, caring, responsible, fun loving person happy to help you with pet care and to step into your shoes to experience a wonderful stay in your home.

My primary goal is to continue to explore new communities and peoples abroad while surrounding myself with that which I love best….animals!

I am currently house sitting in Warwick, UK and will travel to Brandon, UK in a weeks time for another house sit. I hope to have some house sit reviews soon to add to my profile.
What can they bring to the assignment
I can bring a wealth of comfortability to any house sit anywhere. I have traveled so extensively that I have no worries or fears wherever I go. I seek new adventure!
I also am a trained vet technician able to administer oral, intravenous and inter muscular medication/fluids. I’m extremely intuitive with animals of all kinds and my focus during housesitting is the animals and simply the happiness I feel when visiting a new community, it’s people and it’s culture.

Leah was a perfect housesitter
Leah was a perfect housesitter for us on our time away. From the moment we agreed the sit, Leah kept communicating with us which gave us great confidence. she arrived at our home exactly as we asked, and after a briefing about where things were etc, off we went. We felt totally comfortable leaving our doggies with Leah. Leah kept in contact when we were away providing pictures of our dogs relaxing just like they do when we were home! When we returned they were all happy to see us, the house was perfectly clean and Leah even made up our bed for us which was very welcome as we just got off a 13 hour flight! I absolutely recommend Leah for house sitting with pets, It was great to know how things were going while away and to return to a nice clean house. Thanks Leah, more to come perhaps.
