About this sitter

Hi, I’m a 61 yo retired woman living in Connecticut, USA. I’ve lived extensively overseas during both my childhood and adult years. I’ve lived or traveled to Poland, East Germany (1980-1982), Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, South Africa, Kenya, Guinea, Ivory Coast and Djibouti.
I am an avid animal lover and I’ve had a lot of animal experience over the years both as a pet owner, working as a veterinary technician (for 6 years) and volunteering at a horse rescue.

I’m very low key and love outdoors and nature. I’m a dependable, caring, responsible, fun loving person happy to help you with pet care and to step into your shoes to experience a wonderful stay in your home.

Why they want to house sit

My primary goal is to continue to explore new communities and peoples abroad while surrounding myself with that which I love best….animals!

Their experience

I have completed two house sits, one in Warwick and one in Brandon, UK. The total time between the two sits was almost a month.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring the joy I feel when I’ve an opportunity to step into someone else’s shoes for a while, to experience their slice of life and surround myself with new experiences.

When I can combine the fun of a new experience with pet care there’s not much better experience for me. I love all kinds of animals. I also am a trained vet technician able to administer oral, intravenous and inter muscular medication/fluids. I’m extremely intuitive with animals of all kinds and my focus during the house sit is the pets!
