Hi, I'm Larissa! I work as a nurse, and when not at work, I love meeting new furry friends and hanging out with them on housesits! I'm happy to provide updates on how everything is going and will do my best to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable while you are away.

I have over 5 years of experience housesitting and petsitting around Australia, looking after dogs of all sizes, cats, chickens and occasionally alpacas and sheep and birds!

What can they bring to the assignment

My pet approach:
I'm happy to accept as much guidance as you are willing to provide around what your pet needs and how to look after them and keep them happy - after all, this is the main thing I am there for! I prefer to meet pets prior to a sit where possible while owners are there - I find this tends to help pets get more comfortable sooner, but recognise that it can take time regardless for some animals to warm up, and will do my best to help them feel comfortable around me - happy to follow your guidance on this.

My housing approach:
I enjoy a clean and tidy home and am happy to recycle/compost, and to maintain your home and garden as I would if it were my own. I love to potter in a veggie garden, and leaving my own garden is one thing I miss when housesitting! I'm happy to pitch in with watering and basic garden tasks as needed. Also very happy to look after indoor plants as best I can.
