About this sitter

Hi! We’re Tobias and Antonela — a couple from Germany and Argentina, currently based in Tandil, Argentina. Tobias (30) is a veterinary medicine student at UNICEN, originally from Germany. His passion for traveling and discovering different cultures started during a high school exchange year in Lake Placid, Florida. Since then, he has traveled across South America and is now finishing his veterinary degree, always curious about people, traditions, and local life.

Antonela (33) is an art and yoga teacher, designer, and content creator. She combines her creativity and spirituality through “Pepa Bohemia,” her personal project that blends astrology with art and handmade design. She has worked as a yoga instructor in Mexico (Tulum, Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Oxaca), Brasil, Colombia and Peru and loves connecting with people from all over the world.

We are both responsible, open-minded, and caring individuals who love animals, nature, and simple living. We enjoy creating a calm and positive atmosphere wherever we go. We’re looking for a house sit where we can take good care of pets and homes as if they were our own, while experiencing new places and cultures.

This winter, we’re hoping to explore Europe, meet inspiring people, and share meaningful experiences along the way.

Why they want to house sit

For us, house sitting is much more than a way to travel — it’s a way to truly connect. We love meeting new people, sharing experiences, and discovering places from a local perspective rather than just being tourists. We enjoy exploring remote or less conventional places, getting involved with the local culture, and exchanging stories and ideas with those we meet along the way.

House sitting gives us the opportunity to live an authentic experiences while helping others feel at ease knowing their home and pets are well cared for.

Their experience

Yes, we are! We have experience using similar platforms such as Couchsurfing and Housesitters, where we’ve stayed in other people’s homes and shared spaces respectfully. We both love animals — Tobias is a veterinary medicine student, and we’ve taken care of our own pets over the years. We’re responsible, tidy, and considerate guests who always treat every home as if it were our own.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring an open mind, good communication, and a positive attitude to every place we go. We’re responsible, proactive, and adaptable — able to handle challenges calmly and find practical solutions when needed. Our goal is to give homeowners complete peace of mind, knowing their property and pets are being cared for with love and attention.

We also value cultural exchange and enjoy sharing experiences and ideas with the people we meet along the way.
