Nomadic Homebody

Hi there,
My name is Kenzie and I am looking for another fulfilling house sitting experience for the 2025/26 winter.

I am a nomadic seasonal worker but a huge homebody. As much as I value my adventures and freedom, I equally value a safe space to hunker down each season.
And I treat that space with deep respect and gratitude, taking care of it as my own.

Because I move around so much, I live a slower life when I am settled for the season.
I ride my bike as much as I can, and my idea of a “night out” is going to an 8pm dance class.
Home and in bed by 10!

This is my third winter living in Salt Lake and my second working at Park City for a very fun daytime DJ gig.
I am SO excited!

Why they want to house sit

Because I live a seasonal lifestyle, I move around A LOT.
And by a lot I mean every 6 months for the past 5 years.
As you can imagine, it becomes emotionally and financially draining to live like this.

House sitting allows me to travel with less material items and stress. I love showing up to a house sit and deeply getting to know the neighborhood and animals I take care of.

And as I mentioned, I am a homebody!
So I am not one of those people that can move into a cheap room.
I inevitably end up buying plants, thrifting cool furniture, moving all my cool art in, just to have to move it all back out in a few months.

House sitting allows me to live freely and I carry with me a ton of references!

Yes very experienced.
As I mentioned I have been living this lifestyle for 5 years so I have a variety of house sits that I have successfully completed.

I have done a little bit of everything from a long term 6 month stay in Ogden, to shorter stays taking care of dogs and cats.
Recently I did a hybrid of a long term stay where I lived with the homeowner and took care of the home and animals when she was away.
We became great friends!

What can they bring to the assignment

I promise to take great care of your home and give you great peace of mind while you are away.

Because I am deeply invested in taking care of my mind and body, I know that it reflects into the space I am living in.
