About this sitter

Hi! We’re Scott & Laura, a recently retired (tech executive & volunteer/community leader) and very active married couple who have raised two great kids and have provided a loving caring home to our own eight pets during our 30 years in Atlanta, USA.

We are animal lovers (but currently travel too often to care for any of our own) and are very organized, neat, and handy around the house (repairs and maintenance for a clean and functioning home and property).

We strive to ‘live like locals’ when traveling and meeting people and their beloved pets. We’ve had the incredible opportunity to do so in over 75 countries and counting.

We are organized, responsible, conscientious, non-smokers, have an excellent financial standing and credit rating, and no criminal records.

Why they want to house sit

When we travel we like to immerse ourselves in the lifestyle and culture of our destinations. House/pet sitting allows us to meet great people and experience where they call home through their eyes, experiences, and daily routines.

For many, many years we were the ‘go-to’ for all our friends while they traveled to care for and spend time with their pets, water their plants, and look after their homes (dozens and dozens of times). We are also experienced travelers ourselves with excellent guest ratings on Airbnb and VRBO.

As family homeowners for 30 years, we have provided a loving care-filled environment for our kids and our pets; and are confident we can do the same for your pets in your home.

What can they bring to the assignment

You can trust us to take care of your house (and household) as if it was our own. We are experienced homeowners, care givers, and pet sitters who are conscientious and respectful, and are able to maintain and even repair most anything in a typical home.
