About this sitter

We are a couple from Czechia residing in Iceland, currently expanding our territory.

I’m a psychologist, caring for souls online — mostly human, though cats tend to jump into my sessions too. I also have a habit of talking to most birds and cats on the street. My partner is a handy geographer who can fix, build, and cook just about anything, and dreams of opening his own tiny slow bistro someday. He grew up with dogs and has a natural gift for training them — and never misses a chance to stop and admire a fluffy doggo passing by.

Why they want to house sit

Back home, we left behind around 70 plants, but don’t worry — they’re being looked after. After years of cold Icelandic winds and occasional negotiations with our monsteras and the random ravens in the garden, we decided it was time to see the world once more. Some pothos and begonias still hold grudges, but the succulents are mostly fine. Or so we’ve been told.
