We’re a reliable, caring retired couple who love animals, nature, and lively city culture. We enjoy experiencing local life, keeping homes spotless, and giving pets love and routine. We’re seeking house sits in scenic, well-connected areas where we can explore both nature and vibrant local communities.
Why they want to house sit
We love house sitting because it feels like “holidaying with a purpose.” I’m a bit of an anthropologist at heart—I enjoy immersing myself in local culture rather than just being a tourist. We also love helping pets feel secure in their own homes while giving owners peace of mind. It’s truly a win-win.

We couldn't be more thankful
Allowing "strangers" into our home and entrusting them with our beloved pets felt like a big leap. However, connecting with Lisa and David turned out to be a wonderful decision, we couldn't be more thankful! From the moment they agreed to meet us and our boys, Frankie and Bowie, before the sit, we felt completely at ease. They kept us updated, sending regular messages and adorable photos, especially of our big boof soaking up all the cuddles. To top it off, they left our home spotless and even did our laundry – such a thoughtful touch! We are grateful to Lisa and David and hope to book them many more times.

Cannot recommend them highly enough
We were lucky enough to have Lisa & her sister-in-law, Debs look after our two cocker-spaniels. Cannot recommend them highly enough, we had a lot of updates & photos which gave us great comfort they were being so well looked after & frankly - not missing us - they had a ball - lots of walks & lots of cuddles. The house was left beautifully & with a lovely Xmas card & some homemade jams. The boys would welcome them back in a heartbeat - as would we. Two lovely, bubbly ladies.

Lisa and David went above and beyond
Lisa & David looked after our house and fur babies whilst we celebrated a major family event in Sydney. I found Lisa easy to talk with and was quickly put at ease after our initial phone conversation. During the sit, Lisa provided many photos of our clearly very happy pets as well as providing effective communication throughout. We arrived home to a spotless house and a few lovely surprises- Some home cooked Chicken noodle soup, fresh bread from the markets and even a bottle of wine! Lisa and David went above and beyond in all areas and I look forward to having them back soon (hopefully) 🤞

Lisa and Deb were excellent house and cat sitters. Very easy to communicate with, responsive and helpful. I was confident at every stage that both our home and cats were in good hands. The house was left spotless and cats very content. I’d highly recommend them both.

It has been an absolute pleasure for me and my partner to have Lisa and David housesitting while we were overseas. We appreciated the experience, background, incredible reviews and ease of communications with Lisa & David. In our calls and chats Lisa was open, very friendly and proactive. It was incredibly reassuring for us as for first-timers. On our return, not only we had absolutely happy and healthy dog, but guys left the apartment spotless and even made a soup for us, which was very much appreciated after a long travel. I highly recommend Lisa and David as house sitters. As soon as the housesit was confirmed, Lisa was in regular contact and her communication was clear. She sent regular updates while we were away which made us feel more relaxed on holiday. The house was very tidy and clean when we returned and most importantly- our pets were healthy and happy!

Absolute gems of a house sitters
Lisa and her husband were absolute gems of a house sitters!!! Her communication leading up to the stay and during was fabulous (and after, she left notes for each of my kids as well as special notes from the dogs whilst we were away) When we came home we felt like the house had had a final inspection rental clean, couldn't be happier! Most of all we could tell how much our dogs loved their company. I would HIGHLY recommend Lisa and we hope to have her and her husband stay again
