About this sitter
My name is Catalina and I am a massage therapist, reiki master and yoga teacher working seasonally, but I enjoy working remotely and traveling for the other half of the year.
I have spent my life taking care of animals and pet sitting from a young age and I always appreciate giving love to the furry pals I meet while traveling.
I am currently available for both short-term and long term sitting opportunities.
Why they want to house sit
Throughout my extensive travels, I always enjoy living like a local and exploring less touristy aspects of other towns, cities and countries. I also love animals! I’ve found that housesitting can be a mutually beneficial way for me to enjoy different parts of the world while helping others care for their furry companions, plants and properties.
Their experience
I grew up taking care of animals and pet sitting from a young age. I had some experience housesitting before joining Mind My House in 2014, and the first job I found on here led me to many other opportunities. I am returning to this site to expand my connections and locations.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am a non-smoker, naturally tidy, and I treat every home i visit with the same level of care I give my own.
I’m also a compassionate caretaker of animals: from senior dogs who need gentle walks and medication, to high-energy breeds that need plenty of playtime, I’m experienced in reading animal body language and providing the specific care they need to feel safe while you’re gone.
