Hi! I’m Val — a warm, friendly Canadian empty-nester, professional who works remotely in mortgages. I’m a non-smoker, early-to-bed, and happiest with a good coffee, a sunset walk, and a happy pet snoring nearby!

Why they want to house sit

Now that I’m an empty-nester, house sitting will allow me to spend time with animals and enjoy slow, local living while I escape the Canadian winter. It’s a happy exchange: you relax on your trip; I keep your pets content and your home cared for.

Their experience

I’ve owned my home for over 25 years and raised two boys, so looking after homes (and the creatures in them!) is second nature. I’m new to house sitting, but not new to housekeeping, responsibility, or pet care. I’m safety-minded, communicative, and I treat every home like my own. I do not have any house sitting references yet, however I do have many client/character references on my website and Google.., can provide that if needed :)
