Architect, experienced house sitter, former Host and pet lover

About this sitter

I’m an experienced house sitter and former host parent for international students. I like to travel and will watch after your pets/ fur babies to make them feel loved and at home. I like to explore new places and prefer to see the host town/ area as a local. I have good references from other sites and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your home and area. I don’t travel with pets, but have included some pictures of ones I’ve visited and cared for in the past year. I work remote so can make sure your pets get plenty of attention.

Why they want to house sit

As an architect who studied preservation, I enjoy seeing local architecture, design of spaces and admire each place for its history. I take excellent care of homes and leave them very clean - You would be able to come back home to a clean environment and happy pets!

Their experience

I have been house sitting for about 1-1/2 years but before that I was an international exchange student host Mom for 2 years. This gives me an understanding of other lifestyles, other cultures and a respect for people’s preferences for their home lifestyle. What can they bring to the assignment

I am a responsible person and very good at communicating with host families/ home owners. I will provide love for your home, and a respect for its contents as well as any routines your fur babies may have. I will take out trash, water plants, collect mail, take messages, etc as needed. I enjoy learning from other people, have lived in various places overseas and would like to learn about new places!
