As you can see in my pictures, I’m always around animals! In the US (New Jersey), I own an established pet care business where I have many repeat clients and over 90 verified five star star reviews.

Other than pet care, I am also an online English teacher, transcription editor, and substitute teacher in schools. I am also a singer, and you can find my music on any streaming platform, as well as videos of me singing to some of the animals I have cared for.

I speak Spanish and Portuguese and am also studying Italian and French. I am well traveled and adapt accordingly to new environments and cultures. I have been to six continents and over 40 countries.

I would prefer a sit that is either in a walkable location or accessible to public transport (if a car cannot be provided). I’m happiest with any animals, especially dogs, and love a good walk (though I may not be able to accommodate a very high energy/needs pup). As I work remotely, a WiFi connection is also important.

Why they want to house sit

Mindmyhouse combines two of my passions: travel & animals. Simply put: I’m at my happiest around animals, especially when I get to be with them in a new place! I have made the (very difficult) sacrifice of not having my own animals so that I can travel and care for other people’s. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is gaining an animal’s trust and knowing they feel comfortable in my care. This, in turn, makes the owner also feel comfortable so they can fully enjoy their vacation. At the same time, I get to experience another culture while doing what that I love, so it’s really a win/win all around!

Their experience

Though I grew up around animals, I began pet sitting professionally in 2014. I started locally and eventually expanded to internationally, pet sitting in places like China, Ecuador, and Australia. When I am in New Jersey (my home base), I maintain a local pet care business with just under 100 verified five star reviews and dozens of “regulars” (repeat clients).

Other than in a professional sense, I have always loved all animals and dreamed of having a huge animal sanctuary one day. When I was little, one of my favorite places was the petting zoo across from my neighborhood where I got to feed goats and pet cows. I’ve interacted with tons of different animals ranging from the typical pets like dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, turtles, and chinchillas, to wild animals like opossums, wallabies, owls, and capybaras.

What can they bring to the assignment

If you couldn’t tell from my pictures, I am at my absolute happiest when with animals! I love all of them (you can find many pictures of me with all kinds of animals, including kangaroos, opossums, owls, etc!) but in particular am experienced with caring for dogs, cats, birds, rodents, bunnies, and reptiles. I, myself, grew up with dogs, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, and even snakes. :)

I understand what it’s like to need someone you can trust to care for your fur babies, and I know that it can be a nerve wracking process to find that someone! Care for your furry loved ones is my top priority, and I will be sure to send you pictures and video updates of them during my time with them. Also, I’m a clean and tidy person that enjoys organization, so you can rest assured that your house will be just as you left it if I am there!
