About this sitter

I'm a calm and adventurous soul and I’m looking for house sits where I can care for pets and enjoy their company. In my time in-between I like to explore new areas and see the sights.

Why they want to house sit

I love to do house and pet sitting because I get to meet so many beautiful little furry souls and amazing people. Every pet is so unique and I just love all the different personalities. I always maintain your home as if it were my own and I’m happy to handle other household tasks such as plant care, mail collection and anything else that helps keep everything running smoothly while you’re away.

Their experience

I have a lifetime of experience being around all sorts of animals. Having grown up on a farm, around many animals; cows, sheep, horses, pigs, ducks, chickens, geese, turkeys, rheas..
A a lot of Siamese ( their fabulous personalities are so funny). and various gorgeous cats, all with gorgeous personalities.

Over the years we've owned all sorts of dogs - many German Shepherds, Red Setters, Collies, Poodles, Labrador, King Charles Spaniel, Dachshund.
In my time house-sitting the dogs I've cared for are Weimaraners, Jack Russels, Spanish Mastiffs, Black Labrador.
The cats I've cared for are many various moggies, Siamese, Bengals, Persian and a Norwegian Forest Cat.

My favourite dog I ever owned was a German Shepherd called Jasper. Not sure I'll ever stop missing him. I've also owned my own two cats. Teddy, the brother of the two used to meditate next to me and he'd get so excited when I got the yoga mat out and get all purry and plop down on the mat underneath me.

I've done many house sits over the years, mostly for cats. For the last two years in a row I've looked after my Aunt's smallholding in Spain for two weeks each time where they have a cattery of 16 cats and kennels with 4 dogs, as well as small farm animals including two pigs, two goats, geese, ducks, chickens and a litter of kittens too.

I'm very present and attentive with any animal I care for and ensure they're as content as can be.

I take good care of the homes. Keeping the place clean, secure and peaceful and providing regular updated pics, videos and live video calls, giving peace of mind to the owners.

I'm flexible and willing to do what I can to make the whole experience as stress-free and easy as I can.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring a calm, caring and attentive presence. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending quality time with them. Playing, cuddling and making sure their routines and comfort are maintained. I’m experienced in caring for cats and other pets, so I understand their needs and behaviours and can provide reassurance while you’re away with videos and pictures and live video calls.

I also bring reliability and responsibility, treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own. From feeding and litter maintenance to plant care and mail collection, I make sure everything runs smoothly, giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Essentially, I bring love, attention and conscientious care to both your pets and your home.
