I’m a quiet, responsible remote professional who enjoys peaceful home environments and caring for pets with simple, steady routines. I’m clean, organized, and low-impact, and I bring a calm, gentle presence to the animals I care for.
Because of allergies, I’m unable to care for cats, but I’m great with dogs (especially fun loving relaxed, well-behaved ones), rabbits, and low-maintenance animals such as reptiles, turtles, and fish (no pet Spiders). I’m looking for sits that are quiet, structured, and not overly demanding, where pets simply need companionship, feeding, and basic care. I love gardening so watering the plants works for me.
I value respect, clear communication, and a home that feels safe and serene for both the animals and myself.

Yes. I have experience caring for dogs, rabbits,birds, reptiles, and other low-maintenance pets, as well as maintaining clean and orderly homes. I’m attentive, gentle, and patient with animals, and I follow instructions closely.
While I can care for senior pets when needed, I am ideally matched with pets who have straightforward routines and do not require extensive medical or specialized care.
Because of allergies, I do not take sits that involve cats.

We would definitely recommend Amite for your next home / dog sit need. I was a bit nervous at first since she is new to the site and had few reviews, but after only a few minutes video chatting with her I was confident she was a responsible and caring woman with a love for and ability to take great care of our dog and space. Amite was also able to watch Indie for an additional day and even late into the final evening when our travel schedules changed. On the last day, Indie got into some of the seafood buffet on the beach and had an upset stomach which led to the first in-home accident she’s had in over 5 years. Amite was immediately on top of it: effectively cleaning it up without waiting on my response & direction, taking Indie out much more frequently just in case, ensuring she drank plenty of fluids, and generally keeping me up to date in case there was cause to see our vet. We had no issues with Amite in any regard. She was happy to maintain our dog’s regular active schedule, communicative with daily photos and updates, and was very self-sustaining even when the weather was not cooperative.
