Very fit and active retired couple

About this sitter

We are a very fit retired couple who have lived in Spain for many years but now back in the UK. Malcolm had published two books, memoirs of our time in a run down Finca in Catalunya where we renovated it to a well established fishing lodge. He is now writing his third book and needs peace and quiet in which to do this. I (Lyndsay) have my mosaics as a hobby and we both enjoy walking and countryside living

Why they want to house sit

We would like to explore other areas of Portugal and Spain, previously not visited by us.

Their experience

Although we have no experience in house sitting for other people, we have brought up six cats from kittens who enjoyed the rural life, and lived to ripe old ages. Also a beautiful alsation who travelled to Spain with us from the UK.

What can they bring to the assignment

Experience of living in rural communities, and experience, if required, on renovating properties.
